The next thing you need to understand is the colour schemes and content offering on the site itself. Do you want to make the site text rich or laden with images, videos or simple calls to action? Whatever your intent may be, ensure you know what your target audience wants and use those as a foundation for your interaction.  You want to avoid having you website inundated with cluttered content as it will only distract your potential customers from actually communicate your intended message.

After you have considered the design protocol you should have a structured approach to the content you post on your site as well as the amount you actually post and the underline tone.
